# About Peach Data Replica

## Overview

Peach Data Replica provides comprehensive access to your loan data through file-based delivery. Your data is delivered as Parquet files to a secure Google Cloud Storage (GCS) bucket, enabling reporting, analytics, and reconciliation capabilities using your preferred data platform.

> **Important:** Legacy Replica access (v1/v2) will be deprecated on **March 30, 2027**. All clients must migrate to Replica v3 before this date. See the associated [Change Notice](/release-notes/change-notices/replica-v3-change-notice) for details.


## Key Features

* **Flexible Delivery Frequency**: Choose from Daily, Twice Daily, or Hourly file delivery based on your business needs.
* **Predictable Delivery Times**: Daily files are available by 6:00 AM your local time. Twice Daily adds a second delivery at 6:00 PM.
* **Modern File Formats**: Data is delivered in Parquet format with GZIP compression, compatible with all major data platforms.
* **Snapshots Table**: Access a comprehensive daily summary of all loans with detailed point-in-time data including balances, payment history, and status information.

* **Direct Platform Integration**: Connect directly to Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or your existing data warehouse.


## Delivery Methods

Peach offers multiple ways to receive your data:

**File-Based Delivery (GCS)**

* **Pull**: You pull files from a Peach-managed GCS bucket into your data platform
* **Push**: Peach pushes files to your cloud storage bucket (AWS S3, Azure, or GCS)


**Snowflake Secure Data Sharing**

* **Reader Account**: Access your data via a Peach-provided Snowflake Reader Account
* **Direct Share**: Peach shares data directly to your existing Snowflake account

## How It Works

Peach delivers your data as compressed Parquet files to a dedicated GCS bucket (`gs://peach-data-outbox/{your_company}/`). You configure your systems to pull data from this bucket into your preferred data platform.

The delivery process:

1. Peach processes your loan data according to your selected schedule
2. Files are written to your dedicated GCS folder
3. Your ETL pipelines pull the files into your data warehouse
4. You query and analyze the data using your preferred tools


Data is retained in GCS for 365 days by default.

## Delivery Options

| Daily | Once daily at 6:00 AM local time | $140/month per 25K active loans* |
| Twice Daily | 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM local time | $160/month per 25K active loans |
| Hourly | Every hour (up to 24 deliveries/day) | $210/month per 25K active loans |


*First 25,000 active loans included at no additional cost for the Daily option.

## Supported Platforms

Peach Data Replica integrates with all major data platforms:

* **Snowflake** — Access via Secure Data Sharing (Reader Account or Direct Share) or create external tables pointing to GCS
* **Databricks** — Ingest Parquet files directly into Delta tables
* **BigQuery** — Query Parquet files directly or load into native tables
* **Amazon S3** — Transfer via Fivetran or other ETL tools
* **Azure Storage** — Transfer using keyless federated authentication
* **DuckDB** — Query Parquet files locally for quick analysis

Peach offers Metabase, a BI platform, for clients who prefer a managed analytics solution. Metabase enables you to:

* Build custom dashboards and visualizations
* Run SQL queries against your data
* Schedule automated reports
* Share insights across your organization

## Getting Started

To begin using Peach Data Replica:

1. Contact your Peach Customer Success representative to select your delivery frequency and delivery method
2. Complete the contract amendment for your selected plan
3. Create a service account in your cloud environment and share the email address with Peach (for file-based delivery), or provide your Snowflake account details (for Secure Data Sharing)
4. Configure your data pipelines to ingest from the GCS bucket or Snowflake share
5. Validate the data and coordinate cutover with your Peach contact
